Susan serves as Counsel in the Food Law Center of Excellence at General Mills, Inc. Her primary focus is on advising on matters related to the laws and regulations enforced by the Food and Drug Administration, Federal Trade Commission, and United States Department of Agriculture. Susan also provides counsel to various divisions within General Mills on matters related to the sale and marketing of food products.
Prior to joining General Mills, Susan was an associate at Hyman, Phelps, & McNamara, a boutique law firm in Washington, DC, specializing in FDA law. While at HPM, Susan advised clients marketing food, dietary supplements, cosmetics, drugs, and medical devices on matters relating to FDA, USDA, and the FTC.
Susan graduated magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2007, where she was also a member of Order of the Coif.
