Lewis Goss II is an experienced deal lawyer having represented financial institutions, private equity funds, agent banks and other institutional investors in connection with scores of loan originations, modifications and syndications in the areas of real estate and commercial finance. Lewis has experience with mezzanine financing, A-B syndications, note on note loans and master participation agreements and spends his time closing deals for both lender and developer clients in connection with the financing, acquisition or disposition of real estate projects in all major asset classes. Lewis was named one of Washington DC's Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 in 2016.
A native Tennessean, Lewis graduated Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee with a BS in Finance before attending George Washington University Law School. Lewis began his career in the Dallas office of Patton Boggs LLP (now known as Squire Patton Boggs) working in the finance group and returned to Washington DC in 2013 to work in the Real Estate Group at Arent Fox.
Lewis is a huge fan of the NBA, the Tennessee Volunteers and the St Louis Cardinals. His wife and two young kids keep him grounded and motivated. Monday basketball and Friday nights at the barbershop are the ways he finds time for his friends.
