Managing Partner, Bricker & Eckler LLP


 

Jim Flynn has spent his entire career at Bricker & Eckler; he became Managing Partner in 2018 and spent six year as Chair of the firm’s Health Care industry group. During his time at the firm, he has been heavily involved in recruiting attorneys, serving on the Recruiting, Lateral Hire, Lateral Onboarding, and Summer Associate committees. Jim also formed a nonprofit, Rebuilding Together Columbus, and served on the boards of the Cristo Rey Columbus High School Professional Work Study Program and the American Health Lawyers Association. 

As the first central Ohio majority-owned law firm to hire and elect an African-American attorney to partner, Bricker & Eckler has a history of diversity. The firm’s efforts to improve diversity including empowering women and minorities in leadership positions, a cross-generational mentoring program, implicit bias training, and alternative work arrangements.

Bricker & Eckler was an LCLD Most Active Member Law Firm in 2015, 2016, and 2017.
