I am an attorney in the Trial Practice Group at Duane Morris LLP in Baltimore, Maryland. I have counseled clients in state, federal, and international disputes, from initial case assessment to post-trial motions and appeals, on a variety of matters, with a focus on lawyer professional responsibility and liability matters.
With regards to my lawyer professional responsibility and liability practice, I defend national and international law firms (and their lawyers) against professional liability claims, including claims alleging legal malpractice, fraud, conspiracy, and aiding and abetting client misconduct. I also counsel lawyers and law firms on various professional responsibility and ethics issues.
I also routinely represent businesses in employment related lawsuits, including breach of contract, breach of covenants not to compete and solicit, and employment discrimination and retaliation claims.
I firmly believe in serving the community. I maintain an active pro bono practice and am a member of Duane Morris’ Pro Bono Committee. In 2015, the Tahirih Justice Center graciously named me their Maryland Pro Bono Attorney of the Year. Moreover, Maryland Governor Larry Hogan appointed me to serve on the Baltimore City Judicial Nominating Commission to select and nominate candidates for judicial vacancies on the trial courts of Baltimore City.
I am a 2012 graduate of George Mason University School of Law and a 2008 summa cum laude graduate of Virginia Tech. From 2008 to 2009, I served as a Fulbright Scholar where I taught English at an all-boys middle school in a rural South Korean town.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching movies, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with my wife and one year old son.
