Vernon Jordan

LCLD asked human rights activist Vernon Jordan to share his thoughts with the members gathered at the first LCLD annual meeting in Washington, DC, Oct. 7-8. His story begins in 1960 when he finished law school on a Friday and started practicing the following Monday, "for $35 a week," plunging headlong into the civil rights movement and into history.
