Though I spent the first several years of my practice as a litigator and an appellate lawyer, I pivoted and am currently a Privacy Attorney within Microsoft's Regulatory Affairs group. My job forces me to think creatively about how to balance emerging technologies with existing data protection requirements around the world. And as a subject matter expert in an emerging area of law, I'm constantly challenged to bring my A-game. The dynamic and fast-paced nature of the issues at the heart of my practice drive me to find new ways to provide thoughtful and practical guidance for my colleagues.
I'm also passionate about pro bono, particularly finding ways to improve access to justice for individuals needing assistance with issues ranging from immigration to domestic violence. Microsoft's staunchly committed to supporting organizations that do just that, and I'm proud to be a part of these efforts.
In my time at Microsoft, I've built a strong network of fantastic colleagues and friends and made a home in the Seattle area. I'm really excited to expand on that with the individuals I meet in this community.
