I was raised in Guadalajara, Mexico, where I attended law school. I practiced as an attorney in Mexico for about two years before moving to San Francisco. I worked as a legal assistant at La Raza Centro Legal for three years in the housing and senior law projects providing legal assitance to low income individuals in the bay area. I have been at Nixon Peabody since I graduated from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2009, and was a summer associate at Nixon in 2008. I am in the Commercial Litigation team and focus my practice in tree law, construction law, distressed bank services and bankruptcy law. I am also constantly looking for opportunities to collaborate in international cases that benefit from my Spanish skills, my Mexican law license, or my firm contacts in Mexico and South America. I have two children and spend most of my free time with them.
