I concentrate my practice in commercial lending, representing clients who are engaged in a wide spectrum of commercial financing transactions -- as lenders or borrowers -- including traditional debt financing, secured and unsecured loans, project financing, and acquisition financing.  I also have extensive experience in the alternative energy sector including experience in solar, wind, ethanol and biofuels, representing developers, owners, lenders, and investors.  Before focusing on lending and commercial transactions, I was a litigator.

Before attending law school at the Univeristy of Wisconsin - Madison, I worked in higher education and in sales for 5 years.

In my free time I run, bike, swim, read, travel, golf, and spend time with my two young children.  I have completed a number of marathons and triathlons (no IronMan, yet), and a large number of other races with my favorite distances being the 1/2 marathon and the 10 mile.
