Stephanie Uzel is the new Program Manager for the LCLD Fellows and Fellows Alumni programs. Stephanie is a native of Richmond, VA, and was most recently Senior Counsel at MeadWestvaco Corporation, responsible for Human Resources and Benefits. She spent six years as in-house counsel for Wells Fargo & Company and Wachovia Corporation, where she was also responsible for employee benefits. She was also an associate with McGuireWoods in Charlotte, NC.

Courtney Nolde, who has been instrumental in managing the growing Fellows and Fellows Alumni programs since 2012, has transitioned out of her role with these programs. However, LCLD is excited to continue working with Courtney on special projects.

2013 Fellow Caryn Boisen recently started a partial secondment with the 3M Company in which she will assist 3M in the defense of mass tort asbestos/silica/coal mine dust exposure cases involving 3M's respiratory protection products.

On May 2nd from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm CST, the Houston Fellows welcome Fellows from Houston, Austin, and Dallas to attend a presentation by Charles S. Torrey, Business Unit Vice President of Coca-Cola, on Coca-Cola's acquisition of The Minute Maid Company in 1960.
