Personal Commitment

  • Attend, contribute to and learn from the members of the Legal Council on Legal Diversity ("LCLD") to note and implement best practices in developing strategies, policies, procedures and practices to support diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Work to develop a diversity, equity and inclusion strategy for Richards, Layton & Finger, P.A. (the "Firm") to recruit, hire, develop and advance diverse attorneys.
  • Work to assess our talent management processes to make sure they support our diversity, equity and inclusion goals
  • Work to create a diversity pipeline project, including TeenSharp (college) and LCLD 1L Scholars Program (law school)
  • Work to implement unconscious bias training.
  • Meet with LCLD Fellows and Pathfinders twice a year to discuss their experiences with the Firm.
  • Continue to mentor and sponsor diverse associates.
  • At the end of my term, transition from my current role to Chief Diversity Director to help ensure that diversity, equity and inclusion is part of the fabric and culture of the Firm.
  • Use my platform as the leader of Delaware's largest law firm to advocate for systemic change in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion throughout the Delaware legal community.
