Raqiyyah Pippins Profile Image

I assist companies with successfully labeling, marketing and selling their products to consumers. I focus my practice in the areas of FDA’s

regulation of food, dietary supplement, cosmetic, drug and medical-device products as well as FTC and state regulation of the marketing and sale of consumer products. I represent companies that are engaged in the development, marketing, import and export of consumer products, including apparel, appliances, conventional food, dietary supplements, drugs, cosmetics, and medical devices. I also counsel consumer product companies facing advertising challenges, and defend companies in investigations conducted by the FDA, FTC, and state agencies regarding product marketing practices.

On a more personal note, I was born in New York, raised in VA, and "educated" on both coasts (as I attended both Howard and Stanford during undergrad). I now enjoy living in D.C., with family and friends close by. To my own suprise, I have been working for law firms my entire legal career. While I wish there was more diversity in our field, I love what I do and am excited about partnering with others through LCLD to help further empower (and increase the number of) minority attorneys in "big law."

In my spare time, I enjoy live music, sports (Go Giants and Knicks!), traveling and playing group sports and games (despite not always being very good at them, lol). I also am passionate about empowering African-American youth, and am very active with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Washington. I'm a proud member of Alfred Street Baptist Church and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and I am honored to now be a part of the LCLD family.
