Aylia Licor was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, and came to the United States in 1998. Licor graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelors of Science degree in Finance and a Bachelors of Arts degree in Economics in 2006. Licor graduated in 2009 from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center, where she was a member of Moot Court and served as the Bilingual Editor for the ILSA Journal of International and Comparative Law.
While in law school, Licor worked as a research assistant for several professors and was an intern at the Coral Springs City Attorney’s Office. Licor subsequently earned a law degree from the University of Barcelona School of Law in 2011.
