I am a law firm partner at Kilpatrick, Townsend & Stockton LLP, specializing in technology litigation As one of few women lawyers with a computer science background – I enjoy creatively representing my clients in complex litigation and IP strategy. My clients range from startups to large technology companies. Because of my passion, I’ve achieved numerous victories, where victories are defined by the client and not always a trial verdict.
Aside from my daily law practice, I am an advocate for women and minorities in both the legal and technology communities. I fiercely believe that giving back is a part of being in the legal profession and enjoy mentoring lawyers, technologists, engineers, and students (in law and otherwise). I also led the South Asian Bar Association of North America as its President in 2014-15, and hold leadership roles in local women’s organizations in Silicon Valley. After the 2016 election, I’ve become heavily engaged with several organizations who are concentrating on ensuring an America for everyone.
Personally, I have a four year old son who is the light of my life, and a fully supportive spouse who is a GC at a startup fintech company. I’m a sports fan– my teams include: LA Lakers and the Chicago Blackhawks. I also enjoy baseball and soccer, but haven’t yet picked a team – you’re welcome to pitch yours to me.
