Maisa Frank is a senior associate at Gray Plant Mooty, a full-service law firm. She represents clients in a variety of litigation matters, including breaches of contract, business torts, enforcement of noncompete agreements, trademark and trade secret disputes, Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance and advising, and drafting and negotiating international franchise agreements. Maisa has special expertise in franchising, and privacy and data security law. Whether conducting predispute investigations, navigating litigation, or negotiating resolutions, Maisa’s advice and strategy is vital to clients facing complex legal issues.

Prior to joining GPM, Maisa served as a law clerk with the Volunteer Lawyers Network, where she worked on landlord-tenant disputes in the Hennepin County, Minnesota, Housing Court. She also served as an extern to the Honorable Joan N. Ericksen on the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Maisa is active in the American Bar Association, Forum on Franchising and the International Franchise Association. She has served on the board of directors for the Asian Pacific American Bar Association - DC, and its sister organization, the APABA Educational Fund. Maisa has volunteered with the Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless, as an alumni ambassador for the University of Minnesota Law School, as an Alumni Admissions Representative for Carleton College, and was a Council on Legal Education Opportunity scholar. She has been named a Washington, DC Rising Star in the area of Business Litigation in each year since 2013.
