Kimberly is formerly Vice President of Legal and Government Affairs for Scripps Networks Interactive where she led/directed comprehensive government affairs strategies that advanced the company’s media, IP, and tax policy interests before the U.S. Congress, U.S. government agencies, Tennessee legislature, and international government entities. She also gave direct legal support to Scripps’ research, CSR, facilities/leasing, human resources and bankruptcy functions
Before Scripps, Kimberly had several roles with TV One: VP, Legal Affairs; SVP, Legal Affairs and HR Strategy, and SVP of Distribution and Strategy. Kimberly’s professional roles before TV One were Associate General Counsel for BET; associate with Fleischman & Walsh, LLP; Attorney-Advisor with the FCC, and Law Clerk to Judge Michael Rankin--D.C. Superior Court.
Kimberly is a proud member of NAMIC Executive Leadership Developmet Program (ELDP) Class XII/Darden I and a leader in the Prince George’s County Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. Kim is also passionate about issues of Diveristy & Inclusion
.A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School and American University, and a member of the Pennsylvania, District of Columbia and Tennessee bars, Kimberly resides with her husband and daughter in Bowie, MD.
