Co-President and Managing Director, Littler Mendelson, P.C.

Thomas Bender was elected Co-President of Littler Mendelson in 2012 and serves on Littler’s Board of Directors and Global Board. He was also a founding member of Littler’s Philadelphia office.

Thomas is vocal about the importance of diversity to the firm, and says his clients value it, too: “No one told us, ‘We picked you because the relationship partner is a woman.’ But they have told us, ‘We respect and value the premium you put on diversity.’”

Littler’s extensive diversity efforts also include a Women’s Leadership Initiative and diversity training for clients. Littler has been named a top firm for minorities, women, and LGBT lawyers and partners with many diversity organizations.

Littler was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.
