Chairman, Waller Lansden Dortch & Davis LLP
Matthew Burnstein became Chairman of the Waller Board of Directors in 2014 and leads the firm’s Diversity Committee. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Nashville Capital Network and is a guest lecturer at Vanderbilt University. Matt is also on a quest to complete a marathon in every U.S. state—so far, he has run in 33.
Waller was one of the first law firms in middle Tennessee to elect female and African-American partners, and was the first to provide scholarships for minority law students. Waller has a Diversity Mentoring Program that pairs minority associates with successful partners at the firm and provides opportunities to network with firm leadership. The firm also does significant outreach to the LGBT business community in Tennessee.
