Chairman, Arent Fox LLP


Mark Katz is a top real estate lawyer in Washington, D.C., and Chairman of Arent Fox, where he oversees the firm’s many diversity efforts. He became Chairman in 2010 after leading the firm’s business department. Mark is also a member of the Urban Land Institute and Vice Chair of the Commercial and Retail Development Council. 

Arent Fox is a top-25 firm for diversity, and is transparent about representation; among the firm’s attorneys, 34 percent are women and 15 percent are minorities. The firm’s Women’s Leadership Development Initiative provides a variety of opportunities for female lawyers to grow, and its Diversity Scholarship supports four minority law students each year.
