Keiko Sugisaka is a member of Maslon’s Governance Committee and a former Chair and current member of the firm’s Diversity Committee. Amidst a busy litigation practice, Keiko is committed to advancing diversity in the profession and serving the community overall.
Under Keiko’s leadership, Maslon established a Diverse Attorneys Resource Group. She is the firm’s representative in Twin Cities Diversity in Practice, a nonprofit association working to create a vibrant and inclusive legal community, and serves on the Board of Directors for Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity. Additionally, in 2016, Keiko was appointed to serve as an at-large member of the Commission on Judicial Selection, which helps ensure diverse and inclusive courts through solicitation, consideration, and recommendation of candidates to the Governor for vacancies in the District Trial Courts and the Workers' Compensation Court of Appeals.
