Firmwide Managing Partner, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP

Ed Perron became Pillsbury's Firmwide Managing Partner in 2017. In his time at the firm, he has held various leadership positions, including Co-Leader of the firm's Japan practice, for which he received the prestigious Order of the Rising Sun, Gold Rays with Rosette, from the Japanese government. Ed is also a Director of the Japan America Society of Southern California.

Pillsbury was the first AmLaw 100 firm to be led by a woman, and it continues to promote diversity. The firm has been recognized by American Lawyer, the Women in Law Empowerment Forum, and Work Life Matters for its promotion of women, minority, and LGBT lawyers. In 2020, Ed led Pillsbury in joining the Law Firm Antiracism Alliance; at the same time, the firm also committed $11 million over three years to fight racial injustice and advance civil rights. Pillsbury was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2019.
