Chief Legal Officer and Head of Corporate Affairs, Workday, Inc.

Rich Sauer joined Workday as General Counsel in 2019. Previously, he spent 20 years at Microsoft, where his roles included leading a legal and government affairs team based in Singapore, leading Microsoft's regulatory affairs team, and providing legal support for the company's artificial intelligence and research division. As part of LCLD's Leaders at the Front initiative, Rich created a Leader's Pledge detailing his personal and organizational commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Read Rich's pledge here
