Chief Legal Officer, Airbnb, Inc. 

Rich Baer became Chief Legal Officer of Airbnb in 2019. He previously led legal departments at Liberty Media, Qwest Communications, and UnitedHealth Group. Rich has been named a Diversity Trailblazer by the Colorado State Bar Association, and during his time at Qwest, the company was named an Employer of Choice by the Minority Corporate Counsel Association. He is Chairman of the Board of National Jewish Health, and is a former board member of the Colorado Legal Aid Foundation. 

Airbnb is committed to transparency around its diversity efforts, and shares its diversity statistics publicly; in 2018, almost half of the company's global workforce was female. The company's diversity efforts include affinity groups, participation in the White House Tech pledge to create a more representative workforce, and partnerships with diversity-related nonprofits.
