Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Apple Inc.

Kate Adams joined Apple in 2017 after 14 years at Honeywell International, where she was also an LCLD Member. She previously clerked for Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, and in 2017, was named a “Legend in the Law” by the Burton Awards at the Library of Congress. At Honeywell, Kate co-led the Women’s Council and a Law and Government Relations’ Diversity Council, and was an early advocate of the value of the LCLD Fellows Program.

Apple increased efforts to improve diversity in recent years. In 2017, half of its new hires were from historically underrepresented groups in the tech sector, and female representation improved 5 percentage points from 2014 to 2017. In 2021, Apple was named an LCLD Top Performer for the third consecutive year.
