Assistant General Counsel and Global Lead, GlaxoSmithKline
Elizabeth Feeney joined GSK in 2002. She is the former Co-Chair of GSK Legal's Global Inclusion & Diversity Initiative, where she helped launch a reverse diverse mentoring program, in which the legal leadership team was "mentored" by diverse, more junior attorneys. "People found it really eye-opening and valuable on both sides of the mentor/mentee equation," Elizabeth said in an interview. "It allowed people to gain a perspective that they wouldn’t ordinarily have on how the workplace feels to someone differently situated than themselves."
GSK has a robust supplier diversity initiative that includes a mentoring program for suppliers. GSK is a member of the 30% Club, which aims to achieve 30% female representation in female management by 2020. The company is also a supporter of the United Nations' LGBTI global business standards. GSK was named an LCLD Most Active Member Corporation in 2014.
