Executive Vice President, Interim General Counsel, Wells Fargo & Company

Douglas Edwards was elected Interim General Counsel of Wells Fargo in 2019. He has served at Wells Fargo and predecessor companies for more than 20 years in a variety of leadership roles. Douglas earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, an M.A. from the University of Kentucky, and a J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law.

Wells Fargo has a history of diversity dating back to its bilingual services for Chinese immigrants in the 1870s. The company is also a supporter of female business owners, financial literacy, and the LGBT community. In 2017, Wells Fargo was ranked No. 9 on DiversityInc's Top 50 Companies for Diversity list

Wells Fargo was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2017 and 2019.
