Senior Executive Vice President and General Counsel, The Walt Disney Company

Alan Braverman was named General Counsel of The Walt Disney Company in 2003, after 10 years with ABC, Inc., where he oversaw its merger with Disney. Previously, he was a Partner at Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering in Washington, D.C. Since joining the LCLD Board of Directors in 2014, Alan has been instrumental in recruiting new Members for LCLD.

Alan has also helped guide Disney's company-wide commitment to diversity and inclusion, which includes employee resource groups, executive diversity councils, and supplier diversity. In 2015, Disney was named one of the top 50 companies for diversity, recognized particularly for the high percentage of Latinos in leadership positions. Executive compensation at Disney is also tied to diversity goals.

Disney was named an LCLD Top Performer in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
