Stephen Cho practices in the areas of product liability and commercial litigation for clients within the motor vehicle industry. He applies his strong technical background to maneuver through complex warranty and discovery issues for his clients. Because of his unique experience working in-house, Stephen is able to effectively manage client expectations and provide defensible legal advice tailored to each client's business needs.
Stephen previously practiced in-house for a major motor vehicle manufacturer where he managed all aspects of warranty litigation across the country. In this realm, he prepared corporate witnesses for deposition and trial as well as interfaced with high-level corporate executives in preparation for trial. Additionally, Stephen handled and resolved intricate patent litigation matters seeking multi-million dollar damage awards for alleged patent infringement. During his tenure, Stephen was also instrumental in counseling business units by developing and implementing new policies and procedures aimed to reduce litigation risk and increase efficiency.
Before working in-house, Stephen practiced at a large international law firm where he counseled clients in a variety of eDiscovery issues, including all stages of the electronic discovery reference model.
Stephen is active in the local legal community through his involvement with multiple professional organizations. Additionally, he is passionate about bodybuilding, traveling, and spending time with his miniature dachshund, Lizzie.
