I was born in Brooklyn, New York and was raised in Uniondale, New York. I developed a love for U.S. history and the law while helping my mother, a native of Haiti, attain U.S. citizenship. I received my undergraduate degree from Fordham University, where I majored in political science. During my studies at Fordham University, I served as a legal and public policy assistant at the Nassau County Legislature. There, I developed a zeal for advising clients on civil rights issues and public policy. I later received my law degree from Boston University School of Law in 2012. Following law school, I joined Seyfarth Shaw LLP as a Labor and Employment associate. My practice focuses on complex employment litigation. I represent management and pro bono clients in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation lawsuits, wage and hour lawsuits, and consumer class actions. I am passionate about pipeline programs for black and Latino youth. I am a loyal New York Knicks fan, and I cannot resist trivia game shows.
