Daniel Alvarez Sox came to Rivero Mestre after working at the White House for over seven years where he was appointed Director of Operations and Information Systems by the Vice President of the United States. In this role, Sox worked with the most senior government officials, coordinated with high-level agency and military personnel, interacted with foreign diplomats all over the world, attained a high-level security clearance, and traveled with the President, Vice-President, and First Lady on Air Force One and Air Force Two. In total he traveled to all 50 states and to more than 35 countries including Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia, Russia, China, Japan, Mexico, Chile, Tanzania, Turkey, Croatia, and Kazakhstan.
After his time at the White House, Sox returned to his life-long passion—the law. He attended the American University Washington College of Law where he graduated Cum Laude. During law school, he worked for AARP and the Securities and Exchange Commission. Additionally, he was a member of the Mock Trial Honor Society and the Administrative Law Review and did extensive research for a corporate law scholar.
Sox is originally from Miami where he attended Christopher Columbus High School and received an undergraduate degree from the University of Miami.
Sox is fluent in English and Spanish.
