Launched by the 2011 Class of LCLD Fellows at the end of their fellowship year, Fellows Alumni has quickly grown into a vibrant and active program.
Besides mentoring new Fellows, the Alumni undertake regional community service projects and participate in LCLD diversity outreach efforts to universities and law schools. The Fellows Alumni participate in a monthly conference call to discuss upcoming events, leadership opportunities, and to keep in touch. They also assemble in person once a year for an LCLD Fellows Alumni Leadership Symposium (formerly known as the LCLD Fellows Alumni Conference) to network, hear from distinguished speakers on current legal issues, and continue their professional development.
Administered by an elected Executive Council and assisted by LCLD staff, the Fellows Alumni program is an added benefit of Membership, and a great way for graduates of the program to continue their involvement with LCLD and the Fellows Program throughout their careers, building on the relationships and leadership skills they acquired during their Fellow year.
