Dear Prospective LCLD Member:

Included in the Membership Resources section of our website are documents to provide you with information about becoming a member of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity. I hope you will be as excited as we are about the mission and the goals of the LCLD. I joined because I believe in the transformative power of individuals in positions of influence to work toward—and reach—ambitious objectives.

The response to the LCLD among leaders in the legal profession has been nothing short of incredible. To date, we have 178 members, comprised of 60 general counsels and 118 managing partners, and that list is growing by the month. (An updated list of members can be accessed here.)

At our second annual meeting in September 2011, we will all be together to discuss the range of initiatives LCLD has launched to bring real change to our profession. In the meantime, I invite you to spend some time on our website, review our membership materials, and please contact me, Executive Director Robert Grey, or any LCLD board member with any questions you may have.
