Welcome to the website of the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD). Included in this How to Join section of our site are documents to provide you with information about becoming a member of our organization.

I hope you will be as excited as we are about the mission and goals of LCLD. I joined because I believe in the transformative power of individuals in positions of influence to work toward—and reach—ambitious objectives.

The response to LCLD among leaders in the legal profession has been nothing short of incredible. To date, we have 191 Members, comprised of 62 general counsels and 129 managing partners, and that list is growing by the month. (An updated list of Members can be accessed here.) You can also find more information on LCLD in our brochure, a commitment statement that is signed by all members and a list of Frequently Asked Questions on the organization.

At our second Annual Meeting in September 2011, we all came together to discuss the range of initiatives LCLD has launched to bring real change to our profession, through the work of our four Strategic Committees (Pipeline, Talent Development, Partnerships & Teams, and Benchmark).
