Rosa Maria  Villagomez Profile Image

Ms. Villagomez joined Shell in 2014 following her role as Associate General Counsel of Litigation for Eaton Corp. (formerly Cooper Industries).  While at Eaton/Cooper, Ms. Villagomez was responsible for managing an international docket of matters including complex commercial, environmental and product liability cases. Prior to taking the in-house role with her former client Cooper Industries in 2009, Ms. Villagomez was a partner with the South Texas litigation firm of Rodriguez, Colvin, Chaney & Saenz.  Her law firm career followed a one year clerkship with U.S. Magistrate Judge John Black in the U.S. Southern District of Texas – Brownsville, Texas Division.  Ms. Villagomez received a Bachelor’s of Arts in 1993 from Stanford University and her Juris Doctorate from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 1998. She is licensed to practice in Texas.

Ms. Villagomez serves on the Board of Girls, Inc. and supports Cristo Rey Jesuit Preparatory School through various volunteer efforts. She also enjoys serving as a mentor through the 1L Success in Law School Mentoring Program.
