As counsel for one of the world’s largest timeshare exchange companies, Rey develops and oversees its litigation strategies for class actions and other commercial disputes throughout the United States. In this role, he has developed a deep understanding of how to blend his clients’ goals and expectations with specific litigation strategies. He knows that developing personal relationships with each of his clients and learning their businesses inside and out best positions him to meet their needs as their legal situations evolve.
As the son of Cuban immigrants and his family’s first college graduate, Rey believes that it is incumbent on all lawyers to use their skills to help those who cannot afford legal services and give back to the community. He is an officer of the Hispanic Bar Association of New Jersey, where he organizes initiatives, programs, and public advocacy activities aimed at fostering a more diverse legal landscape and addressing issues that affect the Latino community. He is also active in pro bono work through Lowenstein Sandler's Center for the Public Interest, and is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court Committee on Model (Civil) Jury Charges.
