T.R. works in WFA's Retail Brokerage Litigation Section which supports Wealth Management, including the broker-dealers. T.R. first-chairs arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and manages litigation in state and federal courts. He also represents WFA and its Advisors in Alternative Dispute Resolution, out-of-court negotiations, and settlements.
Prior to going in-house, T.R. was with the firm Husch Blackwell LLP, representing clients at bench and jury trials in Missouri and Illinois, and advocating for clients in the areas of general business, financial services, product liability, toxic tort and healthcare. As part of his financial services litigation practice, T.R. handled cases involving breach of contract disputes and creditors’ rights issues. His product liability and toxic tort experience included asbestos, benzene and prescription drug litigation. T.R. also has defended numerous consumer fraud cases and handled commercial litigation matters for various healthcare industry clients.
Before attending law school, T.R. was a detective with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. While there, he was assigned to the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis.
