Christian Stahl is a Partner in the Intellectual Property group of Quarles & Brady LLP's Chicago office. Christian was born in Lima, Peru and came to the United States at a young age. He has lived up and down the east coast, Arizona, and for the last 12 years, Chicago (except for a short stint in Arizona and Africa). When not working, he enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures (and their food), reading, and watching movies.
At work, Christian represents clients in many aspects of intellectual property procurement, counseling, enforcement and complex litigation (patents, copyrights, trade secrets, trademarks, trade dress, unfair competition and false advertising), including cease and desist actions, fact and expert discovery, motion practice, claim construction, inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, domain disputes, and UDRP proceedings. He has negotiated numerous settlements and litigated several matters involving non-practicing entities (NPEs). Christian also advises and assists clients on the acquisition, protection and exploitation of their intellectual property in brand licensing and market collateral. Christian graduated with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University and a Juris Doctor degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law.
