I represent a broad array of international clients in patent matters before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. District Courts, the U.S. International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the USPTO.
In particular, I specialize in the post-grant review of patents before the USPTO. I have represented clients on over 100 reexamination and post-grant review proceedings and my technical expertise includes biotechnology, chemistry, microbiology, computer software, network architectures and computer hardware.
I am admitted to the State Bar of California, registered before the USPTO, and admitted in several federal courts, including the Northern and Central Districts of California, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
In the past, I have served as President (2011), Vice President (2010), and Board Member (2007-2009) of the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Silicon Valley, a legal organization dedicated to fostering professional development, advocacy and community involvement for the Asian Pacific American legal community. I am still active with the organization and serve as a member of the Strategic Advisory Committee.
I also am currently a member of the California Minority Counsel Program - Conference Planning Committee, the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association, and the PTAB Bar Association - Diversity Committee.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, kayaking, and camping.
