As Vice President in the Business & Legal Affairs group at Viacom Media Networks, Jasmine focuses on scripted and unscripted productions. She manages several legal and transnational functions for the development, production and distribution of television and digital programming. This includes original, acquisition, licensed and co-production transactions. Jasmine also has a heavy hand in the networks' live and special event productions and as well as providing legal counsel with respect to program distribution rights, production budgets, promotions, and advertising. Finally, Jasmine manages the internship program for the network.
Prior to joining the Viacom family Jasmine worked at O'Melveny & Myers, LLP handling trademark licenses, corporate formations, and corporate client marketing efforts. In the litigation department Jasmine handled a wide-array of general legal matters pertaining to business, anti-trust and corporate function issues.
Jasmine enjoys participating in the education and empowerment forums offered by the Beverly Hills Bar Association, the John M. Langston Bar Association and the Black Women Lawyers Association. In her personal time, she has a beautiful son and daughter that keep her busy with soccer games, piano lessons and tons of activities. A native of Los Angeles, her passions include Lakers basketball games, beach activities and outdoor exercise. She also enjoys traveling and is currently taking guitar lessons. Wish her luck.
