Since 2011, Jackie has served as Associate General Counsel in the General Corporate Unit of Freddie Mac’s Legal Division, where she is responsible for providing legal support to a wide range of clients, including Freddie Mac’s corporate compliance, insurance and strategic sourcing and procurement groups. In that role, she is responsible for (among other things) drafting and negotiating a wide-variety of commercial agreements, including nondisclosure agreements, licensing agreements, consulting agreements, services agreements, and technology-related agreements and advising on matters relating to the procurement, renewals and maintenance of Freddie Mac’s corporate-level insurance policies. Prior to joining Freddie Mac, Jackie worked for several years as Associate Litigation Counsel/General Counsel for Brown & Brown, Inc., a mid-size insurance intermediary headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida, where she worked on insurance-related litigation, commercial and regulatory matters. From 1999-2004, she practiced law as associate in the Washington, D.C. offices of WilmerHale and Baker Botts.
