Cranshaw is a litigator at Polsinelli PC, a national law firm headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri. As a former educator, marketing professional and legislative aide to the late U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy (D-MA), Cranshaw brings considerable legal, business and communication skills to his corporate clients in order to help them effectively manage their risk. His broad litigation practice includes defending products liability and warranty claims, commercial litigation, and class actions. Cranshaw also has significant experience in risk management and insurance recovery.
Cranshaw has been included in Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” for the past three years. He has also been selected for Benchmark Litigation, The Guide to America’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.
In addition to his law practice, Cranshaw is active in the community, serving on several nonprofit boards including Swope Community Enterprises, Swope Health Services, The Salvation Army, and the Urban Neighborhood Initiative. He was also appointed by the Mayor of Kansas City, Missouri to the KCI Airport Terminal Advisory Group, which studied possible changes to the city’s international airport.
Cranshaw is married with two children, a 16-year old boy and a 9-year old girl. A political junkie, he is looking forward to the pending campaign.
As an LCLD fellow, Cranshaw is looking forward to engaging a broad spectrum of attorneys committed to diversity in the law, learning how to better manage his practice, and gaining new skills for mentoring the next generation of attorneys.
