I grew up in China. I have a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Tshinghua University, a master's degree in Electrical Engineering, a doctor of philosophy in Computer Science, and a juris doctor summa cum laude from William Mitchell College of Law. Before joining the legal department, I worked as a software specialist in the Software, Electronical and Mechanical System Lab (SEMS) at 3M. Currently I am the IP counsel for SEMS and Health Information System Division.
I am a volunteer attorney at the Children's Law Center of Minnesota and the LegalCORPS. I also serves as a board member of the Saint Paul Conservatory of Music and the Minnesota BoyChoir.
