Christiane (“Chrissy”) Roussell Willis is Senior Counsel in the Employment Litigation Group at Fox Entertainment in Los Angeles. She provides human resources and employment-related counseling and training to 21st Century Fox entities on a wide variety of issues, including recruiting, hiring, performance management, discipline, transfers, medical-related accommodations, leaves of absence, wage and hour compliance, and contingent labor. Chrissy also litigates employment claims on behalf of Fox.
Outside of Fox, Chrissy serves on the California State Bar’s Council on Access and Fairness, as well as the board of the California Bar Foundation. She also serves as a Diversity Co-Chair on the board of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles (WLALA) and serves on the Ambassadors Council of the California Minority Counsel Program. Chrissy is a Past President (2015) of the John M. Langston Bar Association of Los Angeles. She has also served on the board of the California Young Lawyers Association, a California State Bar Section, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Barristers Executive Committee. In 2011, Chrissy was honored as one of the Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 by the National Bar Association and IMPACT. In 2013, she was selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers. Chrissy is also an active member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee and the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Smart Set, an African-American women’s charitable and social organization.
Chrissy is a Los Angeles native. She received her B.A. in English from Georgetown University in 2003 and her J.D. from USC Gould School of Law in 2006. She enjoys international travel, bowling, and throwing wine-tasting parties and game nights with friends and family.
