In my practice, I specialize in crafting perceptive and responsive solutions to complex, multidistrict disputes. I believe that an effective litigator must first be a mindful listener – that clients are best served by individualized, cost-efficient strategies, not a one-size-fits-all playbook.
My clients include financial services, consumer goods, and pharmaceutical companies navigating high-stakes, nationwide litigation.
A native Spanish speaker and a member of the Pacific Council on International Policy, I also bring a global perspective to my practice. I have counseled clients facing litigation, government investigations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act exposure abroad, including in Latin America. I have also devoted significant time to representing Spanish-speaking immigrants pro bono, both before the Ninth Circuit and in immigration courts.
In the community, I'm proud to serve on the Board of Directors of The Music Center, one of the nation's premier performing arts centers and an organization with a deep commitment to arts education; and Para los Ninos, a non-profit agency that provides educational opportunities and related services to at-risk children in Los Angeles.
Last (but certainly not least!), I am lucky to be a mom to two girls, Paloma (6) and Mattea (3), who keep me on my toes. Paloma wants to be a Dodger when she grows up, Mattea wants to be a princess. My husband Julio is also a lawyer – we met on our first day at Georgetown Law.
