I grew up in a small town outside of Austin. I went to Texas Tech University, where I wrote and was an editor for the school newspaper while getting my degree in journalism. I moved to Missouri to attend the University of Missouri School of Law, where I graduated in 2009. I've been practicing environmental law since I graduated, and moved to Stinson in Kansas City in 2011. My practice is client-driven, so it's a hybrid of regulatory compliance, admin law, litigation and transactional work.
My husband and I have two daughters, a three-year old and a 10-month old, so most of my hobbies involve them. In addition to typical hangouts, I like finding ways for them to learn about community involvement (people tell me I'm raising baby activists). We also like being outside, and I prefer we walk in the direction of the many bakeries our neighborhood has to offer.
I've been inspired by a lot of people through my legal journey. Lately, I'm finding motivation and strength from strong women who have found their voices.

I serve clients in a wide variety of industries.
I'm on Stinson's Recruiting Committee and involved with its Diversity initiatives. I also co-chaired the Firm's United Way campaign, raising more than $150,000 for our local United Way chapter, and represented Stinson in the Mid-American Chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Woman of the Year campaign.
