Brandon Vaughn is a Principal in the Minneapolis office of the national law firm Robins Kaplan LLP. Brandon joined the firm in 2008. Brandon represents plaintiffs in personal injury, medical malpractice, and product liability actions. Brandon has recovered millions of dollars to improve the quality of life of his clients after they have been injured. In addition to focusing on these areas, Brandon has provided pro bono representation to clients in the areas of family law and immigration law.
Brandon is a member of the firm’s Talent Management and Hiring Committees, chairs the firms Mentoring Committee, and co-chairs the firms Diversity Committee. During Spring 2012, Brandon served as Guest Faculty at the University of Wisconsin Law School, co-teaching the segment “The Early Years of Practice” for the Lawyering Skills Course.
Brandon has been recognized as a “Minnesota Rising Star” by SuperLawyer every year since 2013, and in 2016 was recognized as an Up and Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer. In addition, Brandon has been committed to pro bono service and has been recognized by the Minnesota State Bar Association since 2014 as a “North Star Lawyer” for performing at least 50 hours of pro bono service annually.
Brandon is active in numerous professional organizations, including serving on the Board of the Hennepin County Bar Association and the National Secretary and National Vice-Chair for the Young Lawyers Division of the National Bar Association. Outside of his practice and bar association responsibilities, Brandon enjoys mentoring youth in the Twin Cities and playing competitive recreational sports including, tennis, golf, basketball, and softball.
