Global Chair, Baker & McKenzie LLP

Paul Rawlinson joined Baker McKenzie in 1986 with a focus on intellectual property, and has served as Managing Partner of the London office and British Chair of the firm. In 2016, he became Global Chair of the firm.

In 2017, Paul made a pledge to encourage businesses to reduce the global gender pay gap by 2030: “At Baker McKenzie we don't see gender equality as a ‘women’s’ issue. It is a business issue, and one that both men and women must champion.”

Baker McKenzie has a variety of diversity efforts, including a diversity fellowship program for second-year law students and program called Listening Ear that supports LGBT employees. Baker & McKenzie was twice named a top firm for diversity by the American Lawyer and has achieved a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index.
