Managing Partner, Jackson Walker LLP

Wade Cooper joined Jackson Walker in 1981, established the firm’s Austin office in 1997, and became Managing Partner of the firm 2010. He is also Chair of the firm’s Management and Compensation committees. Wade is Chair of the Regional Transportation Authority in Austin and sits on the Board of Directors of the Boy Scouts’ Capitol Area Council.

Jackson Walker is one of the top five firms in Texas for diversity, with strong representation of women and minorities among associates and partners.

“Today, nearly half of our associates are women and more than a quarter are minorities,” Wade writes on the firm’s website. “However, even those statistics don’t fully capture the rich variety of backgrounds and experiences that our colleagues represent.” In 2014 the firm earned the Thomas L. Sager Award from the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.

Jackson Walker was named an LCLD Most Active Member Law Firm in 2016 and 2017.
