Matthew Keen has practiced labor and employment law at Ogletree Deakins since 1987. He has been recognized as a top lawyer by Chambers and North Carolina Legal Elite and serves on the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors. He was named Managing Shareholder in 2016 and plans to focus on recruiting, leadership, and strategic vision. Matthew also serves on the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee. 

Ogletree Deakins partners with a variety of diversity organizations, and LCLD plays an important role in their activities. In 2015, the firm was ranked No. 1 for Black or African American lawyers on the American Lawyer Diversity Scorecard on received the Thomas L. Sager Award from the Minority Corporate Counsel Association.
