Senior Vice President and General Counsel, Exelon Corporation

Thomas O’Neill joined Exelon in 2017 after serving as General Counsel of ComEd, where he played a key role in developing energy legislation in Indiana. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Christopher House, which assists children and families in need. Thomas and the Exelon legal team recently received the Pro Bono Institute's Laurie D. Zelon Award for their work to improve access to justice.

Exelon’s legal department prides itself on its diversity and continues to look for ways to improve by hosting diverse summer law clerks and mentoring minority high school students. The company is involved in a variety of community outreach programs, including a partnership with Working in the Schools, a group that mentors low income and minority students in Chicago.
