Executive Vice President and General Counsel, PG&E Corporation

John Simon joined PG&E in 2007 and was Executive Vice President of Human Resources before becoming General Counsel in 2017. He is also the executive sponsor of PG&E's Women's Network Employee Resource Group and was recognized for his work in 2017 with a “Guy Who Gets It” award from the Institute of Women's Leadership. 

PG&E promotes diversity and inclusion through leadership workshops, in-house diversity awards, and employee resource groups. For nine consecutive years, PG&E has been ranked one of the top utility companies for diversity in the U.S. In 2016, PG&E received the California Black Chamber of Commerce's Corporate Community Leader Award
